(Day of Wrath)

The picture(1) at the top can be seen as a dire and fanciful representation of the last three and one-half
years of the Tribulation Period where gapping holes swallow-up the unrepentant into a darkness from
whence there is no escape. Everything but The Truth (God’s Truth) has a shelf life (expiration date).
Situational and circumstantial (secular) truth is about to expire. Like with all expiration dates, those who
consume the expired product risk lethal consequences. God’s Truth is always fresh, fosters life and not
death, and will endure throughout eternity, and beyond The endtime sinkholes are already forming.
Various 'Christian" denominations are willfully tumbling into the prophesied apostasia (falling away) from
The Truth of God's Word. Israel is in the crosshairs of Ishmael's and Esau's decedents. Nuclearization
of terrorist factions is just around the next corner. God's admonition in Gen. 6:3, "And the LORD said,
My Spirit shall not always strive with man ..." clearly evidences His 'beginning and ending' of all things.
God's endtime Wrath is on the near horizon: some call it Armageddon, others 2012, and then there are
those who recognize it as God's judgment(s) upon unrepentant mankind and stiff-necked Israel.
Voiding of God
Without much effort we can now search online for timely synopsises regarding current legislative
(government) quicksand bogs, unapologetic partisan sheep-skinning, political pandering to a spate of
contentious social ills, Middle East quagmires, irregular climate fluctuations, as well as the catering US
economy. Secular-type commentaries are available ad nauseam on cable-TV and in major print
media. Believe it or not, like it or not, mankind is entering the final days of this Age (Church Age/Holy
Spirit). The current Administration, Congress, and the commercial media are virtually concocting
surreal stratagems in an attempt to address the mounting obstacles facing America and its place in the
international community. Oh, so sadly to say, once the ink is dry on many of these ever changing
blueprints for 'success', the sheer weight of the effort will topple it backwards for there is no sustaining
'secular plateau' sans the power and Grace of God.
America’s increasing secularism is methodologically hell-bent on voiding this Nation of as many
references to God as it can while patronizing situational morality (there are no moral or ethical
absolutes in secular-steeped relativism – vis- à-vis Nihilism). God's endearing protection, blessings,
and forgiveness towards this country, in the face of its waywardness and ever-increasing apostasy, will
ultimately cease. Many eschatologists believe (His) endtime judgments have already commenced.
Israel and The Bus
Tossing Israel under the bus [sic] may soon become the default foreign policy stance, of the present US
Administration, in lieu of steadfast support of Israel which apparently is believed would continue to incur
the ire of radicalized Islam and the EU. Normalization with factions of radicalized-Islam and
faternalization with the EU seem to be driving present-day US foreign policy considerations (with these
two entities). America is at the crossroads of critical decision making re: Israel -- it almost seems there
is a 'big wait' taking place for Israel to attack Iran or for Israel to be attacked by neighboring Muslim
states. Almost irrespective which comes first, Israel will continue to become the 'smoldering cauldron'
[burdensome stone, Zec. 12:3] no one really wants to get too close to for fear of 'contamination by
association', if not collateral damages (e.g., Iran attacking US Naval flotilla in and about the Straits of
Hormuz). God said, "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about,
when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem". (Zec. 12:2) America's will
to stay resolutely in support of Israel, appears for the immediate, woefully waning.
Dies Irae (Day of Wrath)
In Scripture, the period for the wrath of God is spoken of as, "The Day of the Lord."Zep. 1:14-17b -
"The great day of the Lord is near-- near and coming quickly. Listen! The cry on the day of the LORD
will be bitter, the shouting of the warrior there. That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and
anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness, a day
of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. I will bring distress on
the people and they will walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD ..."
"And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days
will be shortened”. [Matt. 24:22] The elect here, are those redeemed during the Tribulation Period.
The elect of this age (the church) will have been translated before that time period begins (1 Th. 4:13-
18). Ezk. 7:19 - "They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing.
Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the Lord's wrath. They will not satisfy
their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin. [The “they” here, the
unsaved, the unbelieving, apostate religions]. Mankind will/is bringing the wrath of God upon itself.
Not Wrath for All
1 Th. 5:9 - "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our
Lord Jesus Christ ..." (See(3))
1 Th. 1:10 we are told "to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead,
that is Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
The New Testament teaching of Jesus support the concept of God the Father as a God of wrath who
judges sin and justice [BSB.not] – 1 Th. 5:9(3) and is our assurance we who belong to Him shall not
see that Day of His wrath. What a remarkable set of Promises for those who believe, are faithful and
Six Thousand Years
The six thousand years of biblical dispensation are all but complete, and the capability for total
annihilation of all humanity now resides in the hands of a very few. The woes of the world are now well
beyond mankind’s moxie, acumen, and self-exalted capabilities for reconciliation - notwithstanding the
Copenhagen Climate Symposium. However, in man’s stalwart pursuit of a modern-day Babel, a unified
field theory of world-wide governance will surely be attempted (if only for a brief season). A Universal
Ecumenism of religious orders is also just in the offing. A global digital-commerce is eminent, regional
(10) military strongholds will attempt to regiment/regulate the geopolitical world war-machines, and
Internet2 with enhanced satellite surveillance is already in place. Worldwide digital surveillance is a
must capability for global authority enforcement and monitored commerce. We are at the virtual
end of the Biblical dispensation for mankind, before the millennial reign of Christ commences.
One can Google “Tribulation Period”, “Great Tribulation Period”, “Jacob’s Troubles”, “Four Horsemen”,
“Endtime Judgments”, “Seven Seals”, and a host of other eschatological events and uncover whatever
interpretation suits one’s present understanding and predisposition for the Rarparzod (Rapture), or no
"The time of Jacob's trouble" is a TERM from Jeremiah 30:7 which says, "Alas! for that day is great, so
that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it" (KJV). These
birth pains are described in detail in Revelation 6-12, birth pains which are the Lord's discipline
designed to bring Israel back to Him.
God’s Tribulation Period is just about to open, Act-One of a Seven-Act cataclysmic tragedy, and there
will be no stopping the curtain going up on His timetable of endtime events. The protagonist (Christ
Jesus) is well known and greatly loved for two thousand years and widely worship, while the
antagonistic (Son of Perdition) is yet to make his first appearance on the world stage. Without
challenge, God’s outworking of His endtime Plan (See Christian part, in Eph. 1:9-10) will bring His bride-
in-waiting (faithful church) unto the Wedding Supper of The Lamb and commence the final judgment(s)
upon the house of Israel and unrepentant mankind.
300-400 ms [milliseconds]
If the event of our deliverance from the earthly Day of God’s Wrath is calculated to be in the twinkling
of an eye(4) (300-400 ms), there will not be even a nanosecond reserved to make the decision for
Christ, after “the twink" ... make that critical life choice now, today. Needless to say, there are many
who guffaw over the prospect of God's Wrath and the biblical Tribulation Period. This large grouping
of naysayers will compose the peoples making up the second half of the Tribulation Period, of which
two-thirds will be destroyed through last day events, and thus will not witness Christ's Second Advent.
America's legislative agenda seems to be focused on a redistribution of national wealth, ubiquitous
health-care reform, military adventurism, contentious civil rights issues, social-progressive equalization
of entitlement's and not on the teachings of Christ, the Promises of God, nor the prophesied endtime
events rapidly about to overtake us all. Mankind will/is bring the wrath of God upon itself.
Not Strive Forever
The axiom - “If you are riding a horse and it dies, well then dismount” remains cogent even today.
Nevertheless, the secular world, and particularly progressive social secularism, continues to sit atop
their fallen mount while they beat the dying steed with the bravado, “it will rise and race again to even
greater victory” ... "we are master's of our own destiny". Destiny, Salvation, Wrath, Judgment, Eternity
are God's business. When man either denies and/or attempts to assert powers or authority on these
seminal absolutes, Gen. 6:3, "And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man ..." is
brought closer to actualization. Once God's wrath begins (endtime), it will utterly complete its purpose
and in the alloted time.
You can avoid being caught-up in this series of prophetic endtime events, and more importantly come
to personally know the Creator of the Universe and beyond, Christ Jesus; if you do not know Him
already as Lord, Savor, Master, King, and Messiah.

2) Social progressivism is the view that the basic concepts of social mores, human
nature, and morality are not fixed throughout history and should be revised as
new scientific knowledge becomes available.
[There are no moral, ethical, religious absolutes in the Social Progressive paradigm]
<See WIKI> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_progressivism
3) 1 Th. 5:9 - This verse also serves as a word of encouragement for believers. We
are not appointed unto "wrath" (used eschatalogically throughout 1 Thessalonian;
cf.1:10). This text would seem to support the view that believers will be excluded
from the tribulation (i.e., the "day of the Lord" or "the wrath to come"). This position
is known as pretribulationalism and sees the church being "raptured" or taken out
of the world prior to the time of God's wrath (see chart, "The Rapture and Return of
Jesus Christ Compared," 1 Ths.. 4:14). Thus, the rapture of the church and the
return of Christ to the earth are separated as to their chronology and content.
Though they are related aspects of the eschaton, they must be viewed as distinct
and separate events.
4) 1 Cor. 15:51-54 - In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the
trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with
immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and
the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death
has been swallowed up in victory."

The first named storm of the 2010 Pacific season dumped more than a metre of rain in parts of
Guatemala, also hitting El Salvador and Honduras. At least 113 people were reported killed, with
around 50 missing in Guatemala alone as rescue workers searched through the rubble.
The 30m-diameter sinkhole opened up in a northern district of Guatemala City, with residents blaming
the rains and substandard drainage systems. Local reports said one man was killed when the building
was swallowed. In 2007, three people died when a similar sinkhole appeared in the same area.
Guatemala was the worst affected country, with a confirmed death toll of 92, although that is likely to
rise when rescuers reach remote villages. Almost 100,000 people have been evacuated from their
homes. Nine people were confirmed killed in El Salvador and 12 in Honduras.
"I've got no one to help me. I watched the water take everything," Carlota Ramos told Reuters outside
her mud-swamped brick house in Amatitlán, a town near the Guatemalan capital.
